Welcome to our newly launched website which, like the human species, is a work in progress. What you see here is somewhat of a prototype.
The reason we’ve pushed the ‘Launch’ button now is because we wanted to start sharing useful bits and pieces with you as soon as possible. Currently, most of these useful elements are carefully compiled video playlists on the individual topic pages, all presenting an eclectic mix of material designed to inspire, inform and educate.
Also, under the Resources tab, you'll discover a hand-picked selection of highly regarded print, digital and audio books, DVDs and video downloads. You'll see that, in general, the bookstore categories match our site's menu structure, although we have added two extra categories that focus specifically on video and audio resources. (Please note that some of the print titles may also have audio or video versions that we haven't listed in these extra categories.) You'll benefit greatly from the audio resources if you like listening while commuting or exercising, and the video resources offer an excellent way for group or family members to all receive the message at the same time.
Other highly engaging content will appear soon, along with the facility to create an entire community of folk passionate about creative, influential communication when it comes to those 'too-hard-basket' problems. Furthermore, we plan to add a Wicked Wiki where we can all co-create the ultimate set of tips, tools and techniques that women need in order to become stronger, wiser, more influential and better at leading change – all in the area of those big wicked problems that are complex, sensitive and divisive.
In the months leading up to the launch of our website, we have been engaging with an impressive and diverse group of people via the following social media sites. There is some overlap between each site’s content and community, but tangible differences as well. (The Scoop.it site acts as a library of curated content that can be shared via our other social media sites.)

Introduction
How’s this for an idea? What if we could heal the planet and its people by amplifying the influence of women? Worth a try? After all, we’ve experienced the deafening influence of men in recent centuries, and yet the notion of happy people on a healthy planet doesn’t seem to have been a big priority, especially when it comes to the treatment of a huge number of girls, women and ethnic groups … oh, plus quite a few plants, animals and ecosystems – they’ve also struggled to get onto the agenda. Well, we think, as you do, that enough is enough! Silence is no longer an option. Inaction cannot be our choice.
More than at any other time during human history, we need to ‘gather the women’. The adversarial, aggressive and competitive nature of patriarchy must be rapidly countered by the collaborative, compassionate and creative energy of a billion women rising.
The time is right for the establishment of a truly global women’s movement of unprecedented size. At Wise Women Will Save the World, our intention is to help that movement shout louder, grow faster and move quicker.
As you’ll soon see, our emphasis is on informing, inspiring and educating people in a creative, often artistic manner. Why? Because the world is not going to be saved by yet another avalanche of boring graphs, statistics or text-heavy reports. What’s needed is creative, colourful, memorable messaging that will engage the disengaged and cause them to say, “Ah-hah! Now I get it. Now I want to be involved.”
A great way to generate 'Ah-hah' moments is via art, music, humour, storytelling, dance and theatre, where the head connects to the heart, giving rise to deep meaning and commitment.
By the way, our community is in no way restricted to women. This is for everyone who believes that contemporary wise women will play a critical role in influencing people at all levels to adopt nurturing beliefs and behaviours, and move more quickly towards sustainable business, lifestyle and cultural practices.
